Terms of Service

This page applies to the news apps for Android published on Google Play by Beloud LLC.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Beloud LLC, publishing on Google Play under the developer names Safe Apps Inc, Beloud.com and Safe Apps MVPs ("we", "us"), for the use of our news apps for Android (the "Apps"). By using the Apps or creating an account, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. The service

The Apps are personalized news aggregators and a community where readers discuss the news. We collect headlines and links from hundreds of third-party publishers and rank them for you; the articles belong to their publishers, who are responsible for them. We do not guarantee that news content is accurate, complete or up to date. Features may change, and some are only available in some countries or editions.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 14 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to create an account.
• Give accurate information, keep your account secure, and do not create accounts to impersonate others or to avoid a suspension.
• You are responsible for what is done with your account. You can delete it at any time in Settings → Delete My Account.

3. Community rules

You are free to express your opinion, and to respectfully disagree with others. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Treat others online as you would in real life, be tolerant of other viewpoints, and respect other people's privacy. Do not:

• make personal attacks, bully, harass or threaten anyone, or incite others to do so;
• post racist, hateful or discriminatory content, or content that targets a minority or a group of people;
• post pornographic, sexual or nude content, or intimate images of anyone;
• threaten, promote or glorify violence, terrorism or violent extremism;
• promote or encourage suicide or self-harm;
• publish someone's private information (phone number, address, photos) or threaten to expose it;
• post defamatory statements, deliberate misinformation, spam, scams or misleading links;
• post content that infringes someone else's copyright or other rights;
• manipulate votes, stances, ratings or reputation, for example with several accounts;
• interfere with the Apps or try to access them other than through the interfaces we provide.

4. Moderation and consequences

We may review, hide or remove content and restrict or suspend accounts that break these Terms, with or without notice, depending on how serious the violation is: sometimes a warning, sometimes removing certain features, sometimes closing the account. Content may also be hidden automatically when several users report it or when our systems detect spam or abuse. If you believe we made a mistake, contact us.

5. Your content

You keep the rights to what you publish. By publishing it in the Apps, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, distribute and adapt it (for example resize a photo) in order to operate and promote the Apps. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other users have already shared and backups kept for a limited time. You confirm you have the rights to what you publish.

6. Community features

Stances, community notes, reputation, "Top voice" badges, live rooms and the daily debate reflect what users do in the Apps; they are not statements of fact by us. Daily debate questions are written automatically from public headlines and may be imperfect. We may change how these features are calculated.

7. Advertising

The Apps are free and show advertising, including ads from Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network. We are not responsible for advertisers' products or websites.

8. Our rights

The Apps, their design, software and brands belong to us or our licensors. You may use the Apps for personal, non-commercial purposes; you may not copy, sell, or reverse engineer them except where the law allows it.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Apps are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent allowed by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, for content published by publishers or users, or for interruptions of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Apps is limited to 100 US dollars. Some countries do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply only as far as the law allows; nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

10. Ending the service

You may stop using the Apps at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, or stop offering an App, with notice where reasonable.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your country of residence gives you the right to have it apply.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the App; continuing to use the Apps after a change means you accept it.
